Our Vision

To establish a unique and high profile market position in the UK with a portfolio of innovative technology-led solutions, backed up by both remote and on the ground support services, enabling organisations of all sizes across a variety of sectors to enhance their sustainability through reducing their waste generation and optimising their on-site waste handling and treatment techniques.

Background

Applied Waste Techniques was launched in mid-2014 with Waste Expert, a unique cloud-based software application designed to help organisations enhance their approach to waste management.

Building on that platform in 2015 we reached agreement with the team at Winnow Solutions to market their system which enables commercial kitchens to reduce the amount of food waste they generate and increase their profitability. From January 2016 onwards we are excited to add Ridan Composters to our ever growing portfolio, a fantastic on-site composting solution for a wide range of hospitality & food businesses and other organisations with on-site catering.

Our overall business philosophy is to develop close and long-standing working relationships with our customers; we are not just about providing a self-service technology solution at arm's length.

We are always interested in hearing from businesses with new and innovative technology-led solutions that can help our customers reduce their waste generation or utilise more effective and efficient techniques to handle and dispose of their waste on-site.
